The General Assembly (GA) is the central decision-making body of the Entomological Society of Iran (ESI). The GA determines the general policy of the ESI and, through the election of members of the Board of Directors, controls the implementation of ESI policy and operations. The assembly also approves the annual membership fee.

The GA meets annually to review ESI projects and receive reports on various aspects of the ESI, including current and future studies, membership, and finance.
